The Government & Strategic Bids Specialist is an onsite, full-time role in Oswego, IL, paying $80,000–$95,000 per year. The specialist supports and develops government and strategic business opportunities, with a focus on GSA programs, procurement, defense contractors, bids, quotations, and contracts. The role coordinates internal teams and customer requirements to produce accurate, competitive responses and build a repeatable approach to pursuing this business.

What you'll do

• Identify and support GSA and government business activities
• develop relationships with procurement and supply-chain contacts at defense contractors
• review RFQs, RFPs, solicitations, specifications, and bid documents
• coordinate and track proposals and bids
• prepare or coordinate pricing, product selection, lead times, terms, and documentation
• maintain bid calendars and contract information
• communicate with customers, procurement personnel, defense contractors, and sales representatives
• maintain CRM records
• analyze bid and quotation activity
• coordinate fulfillment of customer and contract requirements.
