Security Officer

The Security Officer role is onsite in Saint Louis, MO. Pay is $17 per hour. Ryder Security provides and supports security services, including uniformed security personnel, for client premises. The officer helps protect client staff, visitors, tenants, and inventory through patrol, access control, surveillance, and incident response. The role supports a safe environment through observation, documentation, and coordination with other security officers.

What you'll do

• Patrol property and secure personnel, assets, buildings, gates, and perimeter
• investigate incidents and suspicious activity and take authorized lawful action
• monitor surveillance equipment and inspect buildings and equipment
• control access points and direct traffic
• complete daily reports
• secure doors, windows, and exits as assigned
• respond to distress, panic, and emergency calls.
