The Inventory Control Associate – Day Shift is an onsite, full-time role in Ravenna, OH, paying $20 per hour. Sirna & Sons Produce is a family-run wholesale food distributor serving customers across Ohio, Central Pennsylvania, and Northern West Virginia. The role maintains accurate inventory and supports product quality across warehouse operations. Through counts, audits, product inspections, reporting, and coordination with buyers and warehouse managers, the associate helps ensure products are properly stored, rotated, and suitable for shipment while reducing spoilage.

What you'll do

• Perform daily physical inventory counts and frequent spot and partial audits
• monitor product quality and report deviations
• slot new products and advise on locations
• work with buyers on quantity, quality, and usage issues
• maintain the inventory system and provide reports
• inspect inbound freight and stored products
• check product condition and rotation
• identify quality assurance problems and take internal corrective actions to prevent future spoilage.

Why this role

Schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, starting at 8:00 a.m. and continuing until finish. Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of relevant experience; forklift and scissor lift experience is preferred.
