Development Manager

The Development Manager role is based in Washington, DC, on a hybrid schedule; salary is $75,000–$90,000 per year. As part of a two-person development team, the manager supports fundraising operations, donor communications, and donor engagement. The role strengthens systems and relationships that support revenue growth across individual and organizational giving.

What you'll do

• Maintain the donor database and gift records
• oversee gift processing, reconciliation, acknowledgements, receipts, and reminders
• respond to donor inquiries
• track fundraising performance
• improve workflows and documentation
• draft donor materials
• coordinate with IT and communications
• conduct prospect research
• support donor cultivation, stewardship, events, board, and committee engagement.
