The Maintenance Technician role is onsite at Cedars of Dexter in Dexter, MI. The schedule averages 20 hours per week, 40 hours per pay period, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM on a rotating two-week schedule. Pay is $19.10–$23.35 per hour. The role supports the Environmental Services department and helps keep the community safe and functional. The technician maintains and repairs facility systems and equipment, performs safety checks and cleaning, and assists with grounds upkeep and event setup. This hands-on work helps maintain a clean, secure environment and supports facility policies and regulatory standards.

What you'll do

• Perform routine facility and equipment maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical work
• service heating and cooling systems
• maintain grounds and parking areas as directed
• conduct safety checks
• clean and sanitize common areas and vacant residences
• set up and take down event equipment
• provide occasional housekeeping backup.
