The English Teacher, Grades 6–12 role is onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL, with a starting salary of $55,000. The full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pace Center for Girls provides academic and counseling programs in a girl-centered, strength-based, trauma-informed framework. The teacher plans and delivers standards-based English language arts instruction, monitors academic progress, and supports students’ individual learning needs. The role contributes to academic success through classroom instruction, advising, documentation, and collaboration with colleagues.

What you'll do

• Design standards-based lesson plans

• maintain a safe, supportive classroom
• manage classroom routines
• collaborate on progress plans
• advise students
• document attendance, plans, grades, and progress
• participate in occasional after-hours events.
