Plastic Injection Molding Technician

Job overview

The Plastic Injection Molding Technician role is onsite in Baldwin, WI. Compensation is $24–$32 per hour; night shifts receive an additional 10% shift premium. The position supports a growing manufacturing company’s production operations. The technician sets up, processes, and troubleshoots injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment to support efficient production and product quality. The role also documents process information, performs inspections, handles materials, and contributes to root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Follow molding work instructions, prints, specifications, and shop orders
• install and remove molds
• set up and process jobs to established cycle parameters
• configure auxiliary equipment and robotic systems
• adjust temperatures, injection pressures, and cycle times
• troubleshoot molding and quality issues
• document process changes in ERP systems
• complete changeovers and verify bills of materials
• maintain material containment
• use measuring equipment, hand tools, forklifts, and overhead cranes as needed
• perform visual inspections and function checks
• communicate quality concerns
• participate in root-cause analysis and improvement initiatives
• support material handling, packaging, housekeeping, and safety.
