Front Desk Representative

The Front Desk Representative role is onsite in Sandwich, MA, with coverage as needed in Yarmouth and Falmouth. The position pays $20–$23 per hour and is scheduled Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. The role supports Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston’s healthcare team and patient-facing office operations. The representative manages patient check-in, insurance and payment information, appointment scheduling, and inquiries to support efficient patient flow and a positive first impression across the offices.

What you'll do

• Greet and register patients
• verify and update demographic and insurance information
• determine insurance eligibility and coverage
• collect copays, deductibles, and balances
• explain payment options and process transactions
• schedule patient and diagnostic appointments
• follow up on appointments
• address patient inquiries
• coordinate with clinical staff and management to support patient flow.
