What you'll do
- Provide care according to each patient’s plan of care and the state nurse practice act
- supervise and lead the nursing team
- conduct living room visits with the team
- monitor patient conditions and report changes
- conduct chart audits and prepare clinical reports
- complete and update plans of care
- counsel patients and families
- assist with QAPI data
- follow up on and document patient care issues
- educate and train staff and orient new staff
- perform varied field assignments such as infusions, injections, wound care, and clinical trials
- participate in on-call duties as required.
