Director of Finance

The Director of Finance works onsite in Minneapolis, MN. Pay is $120,000–$130,000 annually, based on experience, with a Monday–Friday schedule. Grace Hospice's mission is to accompany patients and loved ones through the end-of-life journey with dignity, compassion, and exceptional care. The director leads financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, translating financial and operational data into recommendations for leadership and the Board. The role partners across clinical and operational teams to support sustainable growth, sound decisions, and continued investment in programs and patient care.

What you'll do

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
• report financial results to leadership and the Board
• build models for staffing, census growth, programs, capital needs, and strategic initiatives
• strengthen KPI reporting
• analyze benchmarks, reimbursement, costs, productivity, and payer performance
• support audits, Medicare cost reporting, vendor analysis, and financial controls.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, a related field, or equivalent experience; five or more years of progressively responsible financial or analytical experience; healthcare experience; advanced Excel skills; and working knowledge of GAAP.
