The Medical Laboratory Scientist role is onsite in Wood Dale, IL, on a third-shift schedule from 1:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. CST. Pay is $28.66–$32.88 per hour. The role supports clinical laboratory operations in a high-complexity testing environment for a diagnostic information services client. The scientist processes and analyzes specimens, reviews and releases results, and maintains testing and quality-control records. The work supports accurate diagnostic reporting while following laboratory procedures and applicable CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety requirements.

What you'll do

• Handle and process specimens
• perform analyses using approved procedures
• review and release test results
• maintain patient-result and proficiency-testing records
• document quality-control activities, calibrations, and maintenance
• follow laboratory procedures when systems fall outside acceptable performance
• report critical results
• maintain reagent records and participate in training.
