What you'll do

• Administer medications
• perform nursing assessments and histories and physicals for new or readmitted patients when needed
• review prescriptions and over-the-counter medications
• perform and report ordered tests
• perform venipuncture and injections as ordered
• carry out physician orders
• assist with clinic visits and patient rooming
• report changes in patient condition
• document patient status
• make health referrals
• count medications and initiate call-backs to monitor for diversion or misuse.
