What you'll do

• Develop lesson plans using provided curriculum to meet students’ needs and abilities
• create a safe, inclusive, developmentally appropriate classroom
• follow Early Childhood Department, state licensing, county, GSRP, and education department requirements
• guide learning and assess student progress
• maintain records and communicate with families
• supervise associate teachers or volunteers
• complete home visits and parent-teacher conferences twice per school year
• maintain an Individual Development Plan for each student.
