The Sommelier role is onsite in Napa, CA, with a starting pay rate of $25.00 per hour. The position supports beverage service and guest experiences at Stanly Ranch’s restaurant, bar, and events. The Sommelier guides guests’ beverage selections and service while supporting beverage sales, staff education, service standards, and organized beverage storage and inventory.

What you'll do

• Assist guests with wine and spirits selection and service during meal periods
• maintain knowledge of beverage selections, menus, service procedures, and liquor regulations
• anticipate guest needs
• support beverage service standards and wine-by-the-glass pouring
• present weekly beverage education at pre-service meetings
• assist with beverage storage organization and inventories
• and support wine education modules and sustainability initiatives.

Why this role
