Medical Assistant

What you'll do

• Obtain vital signs and escort patients to rooms
• perform phlebotomy and EKGs
• verify and record patient histories and note abnormal conditions for the physician
• observe and report patient conditions and reactions to treatments
• maintain accurate charts and patient files
• assist with scheduling
• ensure outside records are available to providers
• prepare exam and treatment rooms
• protect PHI and follow release-of-information protocols
• monitor supplies and inventory
• adhere to HIPAA and OSHA guidelines. Spanish bilingual ability is specified.
