Mixer Operator — New Line (Second Shift)

The Mixer Operator — New Line (Second Shift) role is onsite in Chicago, IL. Compensation is $18–$19 per hour. Training will take place at Pure’s Food Specialties Northlake facility. The role supports food production by preparing dough to recipes and production standards. The operator runs mixing equipment and follows production, food-safety, and quality procedures to help maintain continuous production. Accurate batch records, ingredient handling, equipment cleaning, and safe work practices support consistent food products and production flow.

What you'll do

• Read recipes and production instructions
• mix dough to established standards
• operate mixers, timers, batch recipe systems, and digital scales
• troubleshoot process issues within recipe guidelines
• follow FIFO and record lot and production information
• clean and label ingredient bins
• monitor upstream and downstream equipment
• clean mixers and work areas
• follow safety, GMP, allergen-control, food-defense, HACCP, and SQF requirements
• report food-safety or quality issues.
