The Registered Nurse (RN), Private Duty Home Care is an onsite role serving the Cleveland, OH area, with morning and night shifts available and pay of $40–$43 per hour. BrightStar Care provides home care, including one-to-one nursing care in patients’ homes. The nurse delivers skilled, high-acuity care outside a traditional hospital setting, monitors patient conditions, and coordinates care with physicians and other teams. The work supports continuity, safety, and patient and family understanding through clinical care, education, and documentation.

What you'll do

• Perform in-home patient assessments
• monitor vital signs, symptoms, and condition
• escalate changes
• administer medications and provide wound, IV, catheter, and other skilled care
• follow physician orders and care plans
• coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• educate patients and caregivers
• maintain real-time EMR documentation
• follow regulatory, HIPAA, infection-control, and company standards
• respond to emergencies and coordinate hospital transfers when necessary.
