Mobile Crisis Behavioral Health Counselor

The Mobile Crisis Behavioral Health Counselor role is onsite in Fairborn, OH, with hours Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Compensation is not specified. The counselor supports DeCoach Recovery’s Greene County Mobile Crisis Team and its addiction-treatment mission. The counselor provides assessment, treatment planning, counseling, and crisis intervention for people experiencing behavioral health challenges. Through evidence-based, person-centered care and coordination with a multidisciplinary team, the role supports client safety, access to services, and well-being.

What you'll do

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• provide individual and group counseling using strengths-based and person-centered approaches
• collaborate with mental health professionals and case managers
• participate in team meetings, case consultations, and clinical supervision
• maintain clinical documentation
• provide crisis intervention and coordinate appropriate resources to support client safety.
