This role exists to perform essential shop duties, including routine preventative maintenance and complex mechanical and electrical repairs on trailers and refrigeration units. The mechanic works independently and as part of a team to ensure fleet reliability and operational safety.

What you'll do

• Perform Grade 4 mechanic functions, preventative maintenance, and repairs on trailer refrigeration.
• Diagnose and repair clutches, water pumps, tires, suspension, differentials, transmissions, and brake systems.
• Conduct diagnostic tests, perform alignments, and maintain shop tools.
• Complete documentation and computer input while adhering to safety and attendance policies.
