The Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer – Travel Contract role is onsite at Carlsbad Medical Center in Carlsbad, NM. Pay is $1,920–$2,000 per week. The assignment is a 13-week radiology specialty placement. The technologist performs ultrasound procedures independently under department protocols, documents findings for radiologist review, and supports safe, comfortable imaging. The work includes general, obstetric, abdominal, pelvic, gynecological, and transvaginal studies, as well as assistance with ultrasound-guided procedures.

What you'll do

• Perform ultrasound procedures following department protocols
• conduct obstetric, general, abdominal, pelvic, gynecological, and transvaginal ultrasounds
• assist with ultrasound-guided procedures
• document pathology findings for radiologist review
• maintain patient safety and comfort, imaging documentation, PACS records, and equipment.
