What you'll do

• Set up and operate manual and precision grinding machines
• plan work sequences and cutting parameters
• write and edit CNC programs
• use precision measuring instruments
• develop fixtures and soft jaws
• manage cutting tools and perform preventive maintenance
• machine hardened steels, carbide, and specialty materials
• mentor operators and apprentices
• maintain safe, organized work areas.
