Experienced Caregiver

Job overview

The Experienced Caregiver role provides onsite in-home care in Dandridge, TN and surrounding areas. Compensation is $17–$19 per hour. The position supports seniors and adults with disabilities so they can remain safe, comfortable, independent, and engaged in their homes. Caregivers provide individualized assistance and companionship while following care plans and company policies. They use their experience and judgment to notice and communicate changes in clients’ needs, helping provide continuity and support for clients and families.

What you'll do

• Provide personal care and activities of daily living, which may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility and transfer assistance, medication reminders, meal preparation, feeding assistance, light housekeeping, and laundry
• provide companionship and emotional support
• follow individualized care plans
• recognize and report changes in client condition or behavior
• complete required care documentation
• assist with transportation or accompany clients to appointments and community activities when applicable.
