What you'll do

• Design and implement data-driven lesson plans
• develop IEPs and maintain special education files
• collect student skill data and measure progress toward IEP goals
• provide functional curriculum and daily-living instruction as appropriate
• build independence across natural settings
• support vocational skills for workforce and independent living
• advocate for student access to general education peers and settings
• support student health and wellness needs
• adapt curriculum and instructional or behavioral strategies
• supervise education assistants and support classroom teachers.
