Behavior Technician – Center-Based ABA

Job overview

The Behavior Technician – Center-Based ABA works onsite in Hawthorne, NY, Monday–Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Pay is $21–$26 per hour. Family of Kidz supports children with special needs by teaching skills that promote independence and quality of life. The technician implements applied behavior analysis services under clinical supervision, collecting behavior and skill-acquisition data and following behavior support plans. The role contributes to safe, supportive sessions and coordinated care for children and families.

What you'll do

• Work with Clinical Supervisors to implement ABA teaching procedures
• collect behavior and skill-acquisition data
• acquire and maintain the RBT credential within the first 90 days
• use CentralReach for data collection and graphing
• implement behavior support and intervention plans as directed
• follow physical crisis intervention protocols
• maintain confidentiality.
