The Systems Engineer II — Missile Defense Simulation role is primarily onsite in Colorado Springs, CO, with very limited remote or hybrid work available. The role supports Qualis LLC’s Warfighter Simulation Services, including the Missile Defense Advanced Simulation and Missile Defense Space Tool programs. The engineer supports software development and systems engineering through requirements derivation, process development, model-based systems engineering, analysis, and documentation. This work helps ensure simulation tools represent current and future threat environments and supports their development, testing, and use.

What you'll do

• Support capability elicitation and requirements derivation
• collaborate on processes and procedures
• research missile defense concepts, space-based sensor phenomenology, and threat model trajectories
• develop systems engineering artifacts with senior engineers
• update technical documentation, system requirements, and user guides
• brief customers and stakeholders
• support simulation-tool training and orientation.
