What you'll do

• Supervise a group of children and manage daily classroom functions
• follow health, safety, and care regulations
• implement approved lesson plans and daily schedules using the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum
• maintain an attractive classroom that encourages exploration and decision-making
• provide recognition and consistent behavioral expectations
• perform classroom, common-area, and playground housekeeping
• assist in other capacities as directed by the director or designee.

Why this role

Previous teaching or assistant teaching in a licensed early childhood program is preferred. Must meet local child care regulatory requirements and be able to lift up to 35 pounds, including lifting infants into and out of cribs.
