Senior Commercial Insurance Account Manager

The Senior Commercial Insurance Account Manager role is hybrid in Commerce Township, MI, with an initial in-person onboarding period five days per week for two months. The salary range is $95,000–$130,000 per year, plus bonus. Tropolis is an independent insurance brokerage that uses data, technology, and a community-driven approach to serve clients. The account manager oversees commercial insurance accounts through the policy lifecycle, provides strategic client service, evaluates risk exposures, and coordinates with carriers on coverage and proposals. The role also identifies cross-selling opportunities, resolves claims and billing issues, and maintains accurate records in Applied Epic.

What you'll do

• Serve as primary contact for commercial lines clients
• manage renewals, endorsements, audits, and cancellations
• evaluate risk exposures and recommend coverage
• collaborate with carriers to secure coverage and negotiate terms
• present proposals
• identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
• resolve claims, billing, and coverage issues
• maintain records and document client interactions in Applied Epic
• follow company and regulatory guidelines.
