Signage Painter

The Signage Painter role is onsite in Omaha, NE, with compensation of $21.50–$30.00 per hour. 3FM designs, manufactures, and installs signage for commercial, industrial, and construction clients, including data center projects. This role prepares, paints, and finishes fabricated signage components to meet appearance, durability, and consistency standards. The painter supports production by applying coatings, checking finish quality, maintaining equipment and supplies, and coordinating project requirements with production, fabrication, and project teams.

What you'll do

• Prepare signage components by cleaning, sanding, masking, and surface preparation
• mix and apply coatings according to specifications
• spray signage and fabricated components
• match colors and finishes
• apply primers, topcoats, clear coats, and specialty finishes
• inspect and correct finish defects
• maintain paint equipment and booth areas
• track consumables
• follow chemical-handling and shop-safety procedures
• coordinate with production, fabrication, and project teams
• assist with other production activities as workload requires.
