Electronics Technician — Second Shift

Job overview

The Electronics Technician role is onsite in Canton, NC, on second shift from 2:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Compensation is $30 per hour. The technician supports ConMet’s manufacturing operations, which produce components and technologies for commercial vehicles. The role maintains and repairs electrical and electronic control equipment to improve system effectiveness and efficiency. Troubleshooting, calibration, and root-cause work help keep production equipment reliable and support process improvements.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot, analyze, and repair electrical equipment breakdowns
• identify root causes and implement reliability and cycle-time improvements
• interpret electrical schematics
• repair sensors, variable frequency drives, PLCs, motors, motor controllers, and servo motion controllers
• program and troubleshoot Fanuc robots and make minor program touchups
• contact vendors for troubleshooting or equipment optimization support.
