The Certified Public Accountant Senior Accountant role is hybrid in Sarasota, FL, with the opportunity to work remotely one or two days per week after the first 90 days. Compensation is $100,000–$150,000 per year. CS&L CPAs is a full-service public accounting firm serving Southwest Florida for more than 70 years. Despite the title, the described position leads the firm’s daily operations and oversees finance, administration, and human resources. It partners with firm leadership on business performance, process improvements, strategic growth, compliance, and service to employees and clients, with occasional travel to Bradenton and Tampa as business needs require.

What you'll do

• Lead daily operations across multiple offices
• oversee budgeting, forecasting, payroll, billing, collections, cash flow, and financial reporting
• partner with leadership on strategic planning and growth
• improve workflows using technology and scalable processes
• direct human resources functions
• manage technology, vendors, facilities, and business continuity
• ensure regulatory and internal compliance
• foster a collaborative workplace
• travel occasionally to Bradenton and Tampa as needed.
