The Registered Nurse is an onsite, full-time role in Cheyenne, WY, paying $40–$47 per hour. Polaris Rehabilitation & Care Center serves the Cheyenne community with skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, and post-acute services, with a mission centered on compassionate, resident-focused care. The RN provides and oversees direct resident care while serving as a clinical resource for nursing staff. Through assessments, medication and treatment administration, care coordination, and staff guidance, the nurse supports safe, individualized care and positive resident outcomes.

What you'll do

• Provide and oversee nursing care according to care plans, provider orders, facility policies, and clinical standards
• assess residents and monitor changes in condition
• initiate appropriate interventions and notifications
• administer medications and treatments within RN scope
• communicate with providers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• supervise, delegate, and support nursing personnel
• coordinate transitions and admissions
• maintain accurate electronic records
• educate residents and families
• respond to urgent situations
• participate in infection prevention, quality, and safety initiatives
• protect resident rights and report safety concerns.

Why this role
