Editorial Production Assistant

The Editorial Production Assistant position is onsite in Newport Beach, CA, typically Monday through Friday; the posting notes that candidates in Orange County or Los Angeles may work hybrid from the Newport Beach office. The role supports accurate, high-quality production across a portfolio of newsletters. It reviews and edits newsletter content, coordinates advertising and email operations, uses audience performance data to inform editorial decisions, and helps improve production workflows as the portfolio grows.

What you'll do

• Own day-to-day production and quality control for assigned newsletters
• review automated and semi-automated outputs for accuracy, clarity, formatting, brand voice, and quality
• edit and fact-check content
• coordinate advertising insertions, deadlines, and deployment with campaign and email operations teams
• use opens, clicks, and engagement data to inform editorial decisions
• monitor workflows and flag recurring problems
• maintain schedules and documentation
• and support new editorial brand launches.
