What you'll do

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• review shipping papers and load condition
• operate in compliance with DOT, OSHA, state, and federal rules
• pick up and deliver freight and adjust routes as needed
• load and unload freight
• maneuver and connect trailers
• verify freight against bills of lading and manifests
• secure equipment and freight with tarps, chains, binders, webbing, or straps
• maintain driver logs
• report defects, accidents, violations, damage, or injuries
• maintain a valid Class A CDL and medical certification.
