What you'll do

• Perform highway maintenance tasks safely and follow required safety and compliance training. Monitor supplies and operate highway maintenance equipment, including trucks, tractors, mowers, spreaders, sweepers, loaders, and other listed equipment. Mow and trim vegetation
• remove snow and ice
• patrol roads to help patrons
• repair guardrails, signs, fences, and pavement
• clean roadways, drains, bridges, and culverts
• remove debris and trees
• support lane closures
• and maintain vehicles and equipment. Provide customer service, conduct pre-trip inspections, complete patrol forms, wear required PPE, and assist with training new employees.
