Housing Counselor and Coordinator

The Housing Counselor and Coordinator role is onsite in Los Angeles, CA, and pays $19–$24 per hour, depending on experience and certification. Faith and Community Empowerment works to advance Asian American community participation through faith and community partnerships. The counselor provides financial education, homebuyer guidance, and foreclosure-prevention support through workshops and individual client sessions. The role also coordinates case management, outreach, documentation, events, and stakeholder relationships to support FACE's housing programs.

What you'll do

• Coordinate case management, training, and outreach
• conduct group education on financial literacy, home buying, and foreclosure prevention
• counsel prospective borrowers and delinquent homeowners
• gather and assess client financial and credit information
• maintain client records and documents
• schedule appointments and coordinate events
• work with marketing on program materials.
