Electronics Service Technician

Job overview

The Electronics Service Technician role is onsite in Cleveland, Ohio. Pay is $19–$22 per hour. The technician supports Clair Global’s audio equipment service and rental operations. The role diagnoses and repairs touring audio electronics so equipment can be verified and returned to service. It focuses on systematic fault isolation, manufacturer diagnostics, module-level repairs, and accurate service records.

What you'll do

• Evaluate incoming equipment and document reported faults
• run manufacturer diagnostics and self-tests
• identify failed modules using service documentation, inspection, or substitution
• replace modules and subassemblies
• perform firmware updates, resets, and calibration routines
• manage service tickets, warranty claims, RMAs, and parts orders
• communicate with manufacturer support
• perform minor repairs, post-repair testing, cleaning, and preventive maintenance
• record repair details and maintain spare-parts stock.
