What you'll do

• Perform fire prevention, suppression, and rescue activities
• respond to fire alarms and rescue calls
• communicate with dispatchers and safety personnel
• operate an ambulance and provide emergency medical treatment, including bandaging, oxygen, and CPR
• remove people from emergency situations
• maintain radio communication with hospitals
• clean, repair, and maintain facilities and equipment
• check equipment and inventory
• prepare required records and reports
• conduct public relations activities and station tours
• attend assigned training
• maintain required licenses and certifications.
