Mammography Technologist

What you'll do

• Use specialized equipment to capture breast images
• explain procedures and address patient concerns
• position patients for comfortable and accurate exams
• monitor patients and assist radiologists or physicians with needed medical attention
• review image quality
• obtain prior reports and X-ray films
• follow radiation protection measures
• maintain patient records and procedure documentation
• collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and office staff.
