This technician supports veterinary care by assisting with patient assessment, diagnostics, treatment, surgery, and anesthesia. The work helps the hospital deliver medical and nursing care while communicating treatment plans to clients.

What you'll do

• Restrain animals
• triage incoming patients
• collect and analyze laboratory samples
• perform diagnostic imaging
• provide nursing care to medical and hospitalized cases
• administer medications
• communicate treatment plans to clients
• prepare for and assist with surgery
• manage anesthesia
• support urgent care shifts when needed.
