Plant Maintenance Technician — PM Shift

Compensation is $0 per year. The Plant Maintenance Technician — PM Shift role is onsite in Wake Forest, NC. The position supports day-to-day plant maintenance across multiple locations for Sunrock. The technician diagnoses and repairs equipment, maintains plant and facility systems, and responds to breakdowns so plant operations can continue safely and productively. The role also supports equipment upkeep, site cleanliness, and communication of maintenance issues and recommendations to management.

What you'll do

• Follow safety policies and report unsafe conditions
• maintain a clean work environment under MSHA and OSHA standards
• inspect rolling equipment and operate equipment as needed
• track completed maintenance, replaced parts, and equipment issues
• diagnose mechanical problems
• communicate plant issues and recommendations
• assemble, install, and maintain piping and mechanical equipment
• repair gauges, valves, and regulators
• perform welding and metal fabrication
• respond to breakdowns
• maintain structures and machinery
• maintain conveyors and change gearbox oils
• operate a front-end loader
• load and unload supplies
• perform site cleanup.
