Job overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) role is onsite in Overland Park, KS; pay is $44–$51 per hour. Overland Park Respiratory & Rehab Center provides long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and higher-acuity clinical services in a resident-centered environment. The RN provides direct nursing care, oversees residents’ clinical needs, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to support safe, consistent care. The role includes assessments, medication and treatment administration, emergency response, documentation, and communication with residents, families, physicians, and facility staff.

What you'll do

  • Provide nursing care according to physician orders, care plans, facility policies, professional standards, and regulations
  • assess residents and monitor changes
  • communicate changes to physicians, leadership, families, and team members
  • administer medications and treatments
  • perform wound care, IV therapy, medication management, and respiratory care support within RN scope
  • respond to emergencies
  • document care
  • collaborate across departments
  • follow infection prevention, safety, quality, and emergency protocols.
