Infusion Nurse — Chemotherapy

The Infusion Nurse role is onsite in Columbus, OH; compensation is not specified. The nurse works with Columbus Oncology & Hematology’s clinical team to provide oncology and hematology patient care. The role exists to administer chemotherapy, targeted therapies and supportive treatments under physician supervision while monitoring patient responses and supporting safe, coordinated care. The nurse collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary colleagues and applies clinical assessment and intervention skills during treatment.

What you'll do

• Provide direct patient care
• administer chemotherapy, targeted therapies and supportive treatments under physician supervision
• collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
• assess and recognize normal or abnormal treatment responses and institute appropriate interventions
• perform chemotherapy, hormone and therapeutic injections
• use IV skills and knowledge of central venous access devices and complications.
