The As-Needed Drivers — CDL Class A, CDL Class B & Non-CDL role is an onsite, temporary, part-time position in Wintersville, OH. CDL Class A and B drivers earn $22 per hour; Non-CDL drivers earn $18 per hour. Drivers support the Village of Wintersville’s Public Works operations, including municipal services such as street maintenance, water distribution, sewer operations, sanitation, and winter snow and ice removal. The role provides flexible, as-needed driving support for Village vehicles and equipment as operational, seasonal, weather, and emergency needs arise. Assignments may include driving for public works operations and emergency response; additional public works activities may be available for applicants willing to assist beyond driving.

What you'll do

• Operate Village vehicles and equipment in support of Street, Water, Sewer, sanitation and refuse collection, snow and ice removal, water main break and emergency response, and other public works duties as assigned.
• Safely operate assigned vehicles and equipment and follow Village safety policies and PPE standards.
• Additional public works activities may be available for those willing to assist beyond driving.
