What you'll do

• Help shape federal and state policy agendas
• identify legislative, regulatory, administrative, and funding opportunities
• build relationships with policymakers and agency leaders
• represent AFF in policy forums
• advance priorities through Congress, agencies, and state venues
• build coalitions
• ensure policy reflects family forest owners’ needs
• collaborate across program, science, communications, development, and market teams
• prepare policy communications
• manage workplans, partners, and progress.
