Accounts Receivable Accountant

Job overview

The Accounts Receivable Accountant role is hybrid, based at the company’s headquarters in Issaquah, WA, with remote work two days per week after a 90-day introductory period. The listed pay range is $30–$35 per hour. Northwest Playground Equipment designs, procures, and builds outdoor amenity spaces and has helped customers build community through play for 30 years. The accountant owns day-to-day invoicing, cash application, collections, and reconciliations across customer accounts. The work keeps receivables accurate and audit-ready while supporting project billing and customer relationships.

What you'll do

• Review new projects in the accounting system
• prepare and submit AIA payment applications and supporting documents
• process weekly invoices
• support change-order invoicing and lien waivers
• record deposits and payments
• distribute statements
• respond to billing inquiries
• follow up on past-due balances and retainage
• maintain records
• improve AR processes
• gather audit documentation.
