Quality Assurance Manager

The Quality Assurance Manager role is onsite in Conifer, CO, with compensation of $70,000–$90,000 per year. The position supports ConexSmart’s engineering and manufacturing quality work in the avionics industry. The manager strengthens and improves the internal Quality Management System by overseeing quality processes, procedures, and documentation. The role leads quality initiatives, supports compliance and product testing, and works with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to address quality issues and improve operational performance.

What you'll do

• Direct department operations and set workflow priorities and standards
• manage quality-control documentation and activities
• prepare for and manage quality audits
• communicate with customer and supplier quality personnel
• review sales orders, purchase orders, clauses, and specifications
• contribute to product design reviews
• develop and maintain testing documentation
• conduct validation analysis
• train manufacturing staff
• manage customer returns and corrective actions
• control drawings and specifications
• calibrate or maintain quality-control equipment
• inspect and test materials and products
• interpret results and recommend release suitability
• identify root causes and corrective actions
• provide engineering support
• travel 10% to assess domestic and international customers and suppliers as necessary.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a relevant field and 5–10 years of experience in a quality or manufacturing environment. Knowledge of ISO 9001 is required; connector or wire-and-cable industry experience and AS9100 knowledge are preferred. Travel is listed at 10%.
