The Bilingual Outreach Specialist role is onsite in Memphis, TN, and pays $19–$21 per hour. The role connects people with services and helps meet program and grant requirements through follow-up, documentation, and reporting.

What you'll do

  • Recruit and support participants in Mpowerment activities and events
  • maintain program presence in targeted communities
  • enter and report program and client data
  • support HIV/STI testing, counseling, referrals, and risk-reduction counseling
  • help clients connect with PrEP providers and follow up on access barriers
  • occasionally drive and set up the mobile unit, test for HIV, Hepatitis C, and possibly STIs, and work with a certified medical assistant and nurse practitioner
  • travel locally as needed.
