Floating Food Service Support

The Floating Food Service Support is an onsite role based in Olympia, WA, with up to 75% travel required. Compensation is $24.00/hr, and this position supports the correctional dining team by coordinating and preparing meals across various locations. This role exists to provide operational flexibility and leadership across multiple correctional facilities, ensuring consistent meal quality, safety, and administrative compliance.

What you'll do

• Assisting with planning, directing, organizing, and coordinating the activities of the food service department to provide outstanding dining options to each assigned unit. Helping to enforce company policies and procedures to provide administrative direction for menu formation
• food preparation, distribution, and service
• budgeting and purchasing
• sanitation standards
• safety practices
• and staffing and staff development. Ensuring proper temperature, portioning, and quality of meals. Directly preparing meals as needed.
