Utilities Technician, 1st Shift

The Utilities Technician, 1st Shift role is onsite in Wilmington, NC, and pays $23 per hour. FedUp Foods manufactures functional beverages, including kombucha and organic private-label beverages. The technician keeps facility wastewater and utility systems operating safely, reliably, and in compliance. Monitoring, logging, routine maintenance, and prompt escalation help protect production continuity and regulatory and food-safety compliance.

What you'll do

• Operate and monitor the wastewater equalization system, including pumps, mixers, pH, and discharge flow
• log wastewater data and report excursions
• monitor boilers, reverse osmosis, chillers, generators, and CO2 and N2 tanks
• conduct scheduled rounds and maintain system logs
• troubleshoot alarms and abnormal conditions and escalate issues
• perform assigned preventive maintenance and create CMMS work orders
• follow lockout/tagout, confined-space, hot-work, chemical-handling, and cryogenic safety procedures.
