Research Associate, Quality Equity

The Research Associate, Quality Equity role is onsite in New York, NY. The stated salary range is $125,000–$175,000 per year; the role is also eligible for a discretionary bonus. Neuberger's Quality Equity Group manages long-only, large-cap equity portfolios for institutional clients. The associate conducts fundamental investment research to support senior analysts and the portfolio manager and contribute to portfolio performance. By analyzing companies, valuations, and risks, the role develops investment recommendations and identifies ideas for portfolio opportunities and risk control.

What you'll do

• Monitor company activities, results, and valuations and make trading recommendations
• generate investment ideas
• conduct primary analysis and maintain dialogue with company management, industry sources, and sell-side analysts
• build and maintain fundamental models
• integrate models into the team's valuation framework and research system
• identify opportunities and risks
• support internal and client marketing
• and travel as needed for site visits, competitor analysis, and investment conferences.
